Catalyst Video
started out of a pure desire to allow the memories of life to
carry on. My name is Jereme Dittmer. My wife Jaime and I began
this endeavor in 2004 with a vision and heart to run a business
that served others and was based on integrity and personal
attention. My desire was to always stay close to my work, and
give people a product and service that was full of personal
detail and absolute quality. We're a small, family run operation
that believes that the client deserves the best of our talents
and abilities. |

My
experiences in tweaking with video
images began back in 1990. I volunteered with a local youth organization,
called Campus Life, and armed with a baby-8
camera and 2 VCR's, I would do my best to piece images
and music together. The antiquated presentations
seemed to have a greater impact than I
could have imagined. Youth events were being communicated in
such a way that parents and board members of Campus Life were,
in a way, being reminded of why they were involved with the
organization to begin with.
It wasn't too long after that,
that I decided to go as far as I could with my new-found passion
for video production. I enrolled in Southern
Oregon University, and received a communications degree focusing on Audio and Video Production. This opened
a door for an internship at a local television station, and then a part time job
as well. Within
three years, I was able go from camera operator for live news...to directing the news casts. My
three year run at the television station added a chapter to my
foundation video production.
I began attending the
Applegate Christian Fellowship
beginning in 1989. In 1994, the church purchased KAPL, an AM radio station that needed an audio production assistant.
This led to a 10 year run working for, and overseeing the audio and video departments of the Applegate Church.
This experience laid the audio production foundation for me, working constantly with live sound applications for
bands as well as preachers. Parallel with this was many years of experience in a 24 track recording studio also
owned and operated by the Applegate Fellowship. Beginning in 1997, I took over the production of Searchlight, a
26 minute radio program and outreach teaching ministry of Pastor
Jon Courson.
...And all this led to the birth
of Catalyst Video Productions! We are growing and we're blessed!
I use a Mac G5
desktop computer for my video production. I also utilize an
macbook. I edit on these mac's with Final-cut pro HD. The Mac
computers are solely dedicated to the video production needs,
and has the ability to record to DVD. I use an HP full color printer/scanner for scanning and printing needs. I have
3 Sony DSR PD-150 3 chip
broadcast quality cameras, capturing excellent quality images for the video projects
I do for clients. Please check
out a sample 'DEMO' to see for yourself. |
