DO!!!!
It is our primary focus to provide
an excellent wedding video for you, your friends, and family. In
an effort to share with you why Catalyst Video Productions should be the one
capturing your wedding day, we would like to cover, detail by
detail, what goes into our product...
COVERAGE.....
We strongly desire to capture your ENTIRE wedding day
experience to tape. When you sit down to watch it, it should be
as if you were there again! Coverage typically begins
when you do, capturing the
preparations of the bride,
bridesmaids, groom and groomsmen. We continue taping
through the ceremony, covering the location on as many as 3 cameras.
We feel multiple cameras are important because this allows us to
focus in the bride and groom, while still capturing individual shots of immediate family members,
bridesmaids, and groomsmen. We have 5 different methods of capturing audio for excellent, professional
sound. We don't
stop there... Though your ceremony is beautiful and
momentous, your video would not be complete without memories
from your wedding reception as well. The many smiles,
laughs, hugs, tears and congrats caught on tape will
flood you with joy as you re-live your day... Our coverage
is done when
your family and loved one's have sent you off on your "Happily
Ever-after."* .
A wedding video is not complete unless we stay till the very end!
*Please talk with
us specifically regarding the end of your reception and
departure times.
Production...
Our work for you begins when you
reserve, and pay your deposit with us. With every wedding client, we offer
the option to have a picture video created for you. This picture video
can consist of whatever you want....typically pictures of the bride and groom
as children, then growing up, and then as a couple. We
have personally observed that it can be a powerful addition to have this playing
through your reception, and we will do it for you as part
of your wedding package.
...Our work does not finish at the end of your wedding day, it merely
continues! After a typical wedding, we will have around 8 hours of
footage (3 cameras combined) to go through. We then creatively
and carefully choose the best shots,
and assemble them into your wedding video. Our desire is to make the best
possible video for you... one that will be enjoyed even
five, ten, or twenty years later. We strive to focus on quality,
and for two to three days, we edit, tweak, and perfect your
wedding video to the best of our ability... However,
with that said, we want your wedding video to be just that, YOUR
VIDEO! Just as if you were the
one editing it. It is important to us to have an approval copy of your video available
as soon as possible of your
ceremony.* Your approval copy is designed with a
time-code sequence, which when viewed, allows you to notate ANY changes you might want to make.
Also, our editing room
is open and available for you to come and make these changes
along side us if you so desire.
* Approval copy turn-around time is sometimes subject to current
Catalyst workload and obligations. Approval copies
can sometimes take up to four weeks for turn-around. Estimated
times will always be discussed with each client.
And More Production...
As we edit, we will save 40-60 pictures from the footage
we have shot, and post them onto a web page connected to this
web site. This allows you to send a "sneak-peek" link to friends
and family to see and enjoy! These pictures can also make up the artwork for your DVD
case and cover...all of witch
are designed, and submitted with your approval copy. Your DVD contains a full featured menu structure, allowing
you to quickly access any point of your wedding video.
The Quality...
We use Broadcast quality cameras (Sony PD-150), and professional wireless microphone systems. We record onto the
best quality DVD media you can get. We edit our videos digitally on top-of-the-line editing equipment.
The Quantity...
We want your wedding experience to be enjoyed by those who are closest to you. Once you have viewed your approval
copy, and the changes have been made, we will provide copies for the wedding couple, each bridesmaid and groomsman, and each set of parents
on DVD (no matter how many there are in your wedding party
or family!). Additional copies can always be ordered.
